Jennifer is the Research Manager at the American Epilepsy Society where she supports the Society’s early career grant programs, professional development programs, and other research initiatives. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University. During that time, she developed an interest in studying the brain, and went on to complete a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience at Michigan State University. She has dedicated her career to supporting biomedical researchers, including prior roles as an analyst at a federal science funding agency and in a science policy/outreach role at a professional association.
Jennifer lives in Lakeview with her husband Quentin and dog Ginny. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, hiking, and baking. Jennifer also volunteers with the Health Research Alliance and the Chicago Association Forum.
