Felix Lu is currently an innovation management consultant with Inverse Outsights, LLC. He trained as a semiconductor materials scientist at UC San Diego and has worked in a variety of areas. He started at Boeing Satellite systems in Los Angeles working in the Technology Qualification group for reliability of satellite electronics and optics, co-founded and managed a high technology startup in North Carolina building MEMS-based optical beam steering systems for a niche quantum computing application, pivoted over to educational and corporate outreach for engineering schools at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and the University of Chicago, and is now applying that experience and insight building companies, partnerships, and ecosystems towards helping companies strategically improve their market positioning.

Felix grew up in the northern beach cities of San Diego, and enjoys the seasons – especially Autumn.  He enjoys helping people, chatting with the folks at the dog park, non-fiction books (physical books! none of this Kindle stuff), medium-roasted black coffees, non-IPA beers, camping and living rustically for a bit, road trips to new areas, ping-pong, volleyball, playing and singing popular tunes on the piano, and has been an avid martial artist in Krav Maga since 2014.
