Battery technology is commonplace. Batteries power our cars, our cell phones, and our watches. They power the tools and devices we use in our home and in some cases, they power the home itself! As individuals, organizations, and nations attempt to build a better future, we need new batteries.

But how are batteries made? Where do they come from? Who is responsible for their discovery and production? Most importantly, how can we build better batteries?

During the third event in C2ST and Argonne National Laboratory’s 75th anniversary celebration, Dr. Aashutosh Mistry will recharge our understanding of batteries, and their importance for a greener future.
