COVID-19 Update

Northwestern University, Argonne National Laboratory, the University of Chicago, and other C2ST partner organizations are at the forefront of the search for a cure or vaccine for COVID-19. Several of these organizations are tracking the spread of the virus while developing strategies for stopping it. In the meantime, these organizations are offering practical tips for protecting yourself and others from the virus. Over the next several weeks, we will be sending you links to the information prepared by these institutions. Additionally, we’d like to keep you in the loop on what these organizations and others are doing to fight COVID-19.

Furthermore, in order to ensure that accurate information from valid, qualified authorities on COVID-19 reaches the public, C2ST will host a series of free online lectures with Q&A segments. Hear from and ask questions of Chicago’s esteemed researchers who are on the frontlines of COVID-19 research on topics ranging from vaccines to viral biology to the social implications of the virus. Stay tuned for exact dates and times.

We have tough challenges ahead, but rest assured in the knowledge that some of the best minds on the planet are here in Chicago and that they are working tirelessly to get us back on our feet.

Stay safe out there!
