Science Riot, presented by the Chicago Council on Science and Technology, will bring two science comedy storytelling shows to the city this spring. Science in the City Annual Gala 2018

You are invited to celebrate 10 years of Science in the City with the Chicago Council on Science and Technology at mHUB. Join us for a night of activities where science community and industry leaders come together to support our ongoing efforts in providing science education to the city of Chicago. We will serve drinks and hors-d’oeuvres and guests will be able to tour mHUB’s innovative manufacturing facility and learn more about 3D printing. Prepare for the Solar Eclipse

All of North America will enjoy a total eclipse of the sun on August 21, 2017. Those in the path of totality, where the moon completely covers the face of the sun and only the corona is visible, will experience a total solar eclipse–temperatures will suddenly drop, and wildlife will go eerily silent. This path of totality will stretch from Salem, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. The last time the Lower 48 experienced a total solar eclipse was 1979; the next one traveling coast to coast won’t be until 2045. Continue reading “Prepare for the Solar Eclipse”

Help C2ST foster connections across various industries as we celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary at this year’s gala. There will be an opportunity for supporters to celebrate science and enjoy interactive sports museum exhibits. Meet researchers and mingle with area business leaders and young professionals while you enjoy food and drinks.
