Sheela Vemu is an Associate Professor of Biology at Waubonsee Community College and an NSF Principal Investigator and CoPI on multiple Advanced Technological Education (ATE) and IUSEUBE (Improving Undergraduate STEM Education) grants. Her work centers on building pathways into water sector careers, developing classroom based undergraduate research experiences in antibody bioengineering, and advancing faculty co-mentoring partnerships.
