Join C2ST for a live game show at the NIU STEM Fest! Make it Make Sense – Science Showdown will feature three scientists who will attempt to explain their research in the most entertaining and engaging way that they can – and we’ll ask YOU to vote on who does it best! We will hold two sessions, one at 11 am and one at 1 pm. Come to one, or both!

STEM Fest is a celebration of all things science, technology, engineering and math. This free event is held each year in the fall on the campus of Northern Illinois University and features more than 100 exhibits, speakers and demonstrations designed to inspire and engage guests of all ages with opportunities for STEM learning. It is one of the largest free family events in northern Illinois.

NIU STEAM, in partnership with Meta is excited to offer a limited number of educator stipends and transportation grants to help K-12 educators bring students and their families to STEM Fest. Please click on the “STEM Fest” button to learn more and apply.
