Alex Galassini
Alex Galassini is the Manager of Programs and Engagement at C2ST who earned a B.S. in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is pursuing an M.A. in Biology from Miami University. Prior to arriving at C2ST, Alex worked as a Learning Specialist at Shedd Aquarium, educating on topics such as underwater robotics, aquatic ecology, and marine conservation. His scientific interests include ecology, conservation, human-wildlife interactions and marine biology. He strives to connect people with the natural world to better protect the planet for the humans, plants and animals who share it.
Alex enjoys long walks in colorful socks along The 606, sampling the city’s ice creameries, and exploring the many cultures of the world.
